I love the chatter over the uniforms at UT. I hate to break it to people, but UT has always tweaked their uniforms, almost annually. One year it might be pinstipes on the pants, then a thick stripe, then two or three stripes, orange sleeves or yoke, blue/black/no outlines. The stripe on the helmet has changed many times, so has the size and shape of the T. Go back through the years, and you will see almost a slightly different uniform every year. Look at the unis Holloway wore in the 70's. We did uniforms changes back when the Oregon duck was still an egg. However one thing has remained constant - as soon as you see our uniforms  and  it does not matter if it is the 50', 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's or today, you know it is Tennessee. That is the difference between us and schools like Oregon, and those drag queen power ranger unis of UGA, they always proudly state who we are and you cannot mistake us for anyone else.

@HoustonVol My favorite change was the black outline added to the numbers on your away jerseys.  Man, they used to be hard to read :)

Good luck this season, I think Jones will be a heck of a coach.
